Responsibilities
- Lead the UX design strategy for the travel app platform, ensuring a consistent, intuitive, and user-friendly experience.
- Bridge the Gap: Foster close collaboration with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless handoff and successful implementation. Advocate for design throughout the development lifecycle.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and business to translate business goals into exceptional user experiences.
- Conduct user research, analyze data, and identify user needs and pain points.
- Design, prototype, and iterate on user interfaces for the app and website.
- Establish and maintain UX design standards and best practices.
- Manage and mentor a team of 2 product designers, providing them with clear direction, feedback, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Product/UX Design Manager/Lead, Product Designer, or similar role within a tech company.
- Proven track record of shipping high-impact user experiences for complex digital products.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking methodologies, and accessibility best practices.
- Mastery of design tools: Expert in Figma, Sketch, or equivalent prototyping tools.
- Technical fluency: A solid understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Communication rockstar: Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills to effectively influence cross-functional teams.
- Agile and adaptable: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing effectively and delivering results under pressure.

- Experience in optimizing UX performance using A/B testing and data analysis.
- A proven track record of building and scaling design systems.
- Proficiency in design systems tools Storybook and Zeroheight
- Experience designing for a global audience.
