Yara aims to be the crop nutrition company for the future and is leading the development of sustainable agriculture and digital tools to contribute to solving global agricultural challenges. We have a worldwide presence with sales teams in ~150 countries and around 17,000 employees. Yara Farming Solutions, will lead the transformation towards more sustainable and efficient food production, by innovating our offerings and the way we work. Crop and Digital Solutions is responsible developing and scaling new “on-farm” digital and integrated tools and solutions for an efficient and transparent food system.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, build and run surveys using our survey platform and support multiple external and internal teams needs for quantitative research
  • Analyze the results of multiple surveys and generate insights and improvement points
  • Align with the qualitative researchers to better understand our users with both quantitative and qualitative research initiatives based on the needs of product teams
  • Work closely with UI and visual designer experts to define wireframes and mock-ups, and with developers to transmit the design recommendations.
  • Deal with team and calendar management and present your UX deliveries to business stakeholders.

 

Profile

  • Proven track record of delivering DataScience products, primarily in Computer Vision and NLP techniques. Knowledge in AgTech, agronomic crop modeling and empirical analysis is highly preferred
  • Strong mathematical skills, statistical modeling and AI/machine learning; MS or PhD in mathematical or relevant field is preferred
  • Good project management skills, managing customer expectations and stakeholder communications. Experience in developing digital products and product lifecycle is desirable
  • Proficient in SQL, Python based scientific and numerical libraries and machine learning techniques
  • Experience in major AWS cloud infrastructure such as S3, Dockers and Lambda for model deployments, PoCs etc. . Knowledge/experience with Github code repository, Circle CI is desirable
