Senior Manager, User Research

We are seeking a Sr. Manager to lead our growing research team across Mindbody + ClassPass. In this position, you’ll spearhead our research function, establishing how research sits and operates within the product organization. Reporting to the Head of Design, you will lead a team of talented researchers to support our mission of “connecting the world to wellness”.

 

Responsibilities

  • Establishing Mindbody’s research practice across disciplines, guiding our approach to research frameworks and operations that support our scaling, global, multi-product organization.
  • Influencing Mindbody’s vision and strategy, informing new growth opportunities, and enhancing customer satisfaction through insights that you and your team provide.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to the Product Leadership team and relevant stakeholders during strategy formulation, development, and execution.

 

 

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience working in a Research leadership role, 7-10 conducting research in a related field.
  • Building and scaling research functions, including setting strategy, developing operational structures, and building practice culture.
  • Leading both qualitative & quantitative research supporting product development, AI/ML innovation, and business strategy.
  • Experience working with a variety of cross-functional peers and stakeholders (e.g., product managers, data scientists, designers, engineers, sales, marketing)
  • Distilling complex multi-method research reports into understandable, compelling, and actionable insights. Strong analytical skills and the ability to triangulate data and insights from multiple sources.
  • Superb analytical and communication skills, with an aptitude for data-driven storytelling
  • Working with other data disciplines such as Data Science and Business Intelligence teams
