Interaction Latin America 2021 / ILA21 (Online)

Interaction Latin America 2021 (ILA21), Latin America’s largest conference on interaction design, user experience, technology, and innovation, will be held virtually this year. The main event, which will last 3 days, is expected to attract over a thousand participants and international talent with an interest in design. The central concept of the eleventh edition of the ILA is “Growing from Strength”, and through talks and workshops, it aims to create a space where it is possible to question the objectivity of the data. In addition, it seeks to inspire international participants to design with the ideals of peace, environmental protection, and happiness, which characterize Costa Rica.

The conference promises an in-depth conversation about the impact of design on our daily lives and will be the culmination of a series of events and activities that will take place in early November. Language won’t be a constraint for participating. Simultaneous translation will be provided for native English speakers.

About the Organizer

The Interaction Design Association (IxDA) is an organization supported by its members and dedicated to the discipline of interaction design. Since its launch in 2003, IxDA has grown to become a worldwide network of more than 100 thousand people and over 200 local groups, focused on interaction design issues for the professional, regardless of their level of expertise. We are driven by a passion for design and the belief that our practice can make the world a better place.
