CHI 2024, the leading academic conference on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), will take place from May 11 – 16, 2024 at the Hawaii Convention Center. This year’s conference embraces the theme of “Surfing the World”, reflecting the focus on pushing forth the wave of cutting-edge technology and riding the tide of new developments in HCI. A host of paper presentations, case studies, courses, workshops, panels, video showcase and competitions will be held throughout the 6-day event. And if attending the conference in person is not feasible, one may also opt to participate in the conference remotely.

The annual Association of Computing Machinery’s Computer Human Interaction (CHI) conference is organized by hundreds of volunteers, including an organizing committee of track and venue chairs, sub-committee chairs and associate chairs for the papers program, student volunteers, jury members, reviewers and many more. The conference is hosted by ACM SIGCHI, the Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction, which takes on the financial risk and the legal responsibility for the event.
