Responsibilities

  • You will serve as a Creative Director, lead design thinking with HCD approach, build new business and clientele, and support multiple products and services from the ground up.
  • As a Director, you will join and lead engagement teams serving our clients and gain exposure to a spectrum of topics that are complex in scale and scope, intellectually demanding, and highly deadline driven.
  • You will work in teams of typically 3 – 5 consultants/designers, taking charge of specific aspects of the project. You will do extensive research, source data, lead cocreations and contribute to identifying potential solutions for a specific client problem or challenge.
  • Design, lead and facilitate client workshops then synthesize insights into defensible visions, frameworks, and concepts using human-centered design and lean start-up processes.
  • Rapidly convert ideas into working prototypes, meshing-together solutions/capabilities that exist within Visa or externally.
  • Conduct and/or support in-depth market testing using various qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Develop a nuanced understanding of emerging digital payment trends as well as Visa’s capabilities and be able to apply them to clients’ business problems to actively engage with clients and co-develop meaningful solutions to address their challenges.
  • You will also present results to internal Visa stakeholders, client management and at-times implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.
  • Contribute to key Practice building initiatives – Capability – IP generation, training, mentorship, team initiatives.

 

 

Qualifications

  • 12 years of experience in Product Design, with a portfolio that showcases a deep uderstanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Demonstrated career progression at a consulting firm.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, user experience design best practices, service design, user research, innovations, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Extensive experience in leading design projects from conception to completion.
  • Experience and proven track record running client engagements, demonstrating excellence in presentation polish, and strong client orientation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience in creating user experience maps, service blueprints, wireframes, polished user interface design, rapid prototyping, and presentations.

 

 

  • Strong fluency in di ital design software including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Analytical thinker, creatively confident, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic
    with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
  • Experience in working on complex and ambiguous problem to drive results
  • Deadline driven, organized and be able to multi-task.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to develop well-structured
    communications and deliver presentations to audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to have structured thinking and build strong
    arguments, comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing scenarios.
  • Self-starter individual with a keen appetite for learning.
  • Collaborative team player with ability to work with people from diverse
    backgrounds.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, pragmatic, someone who ‘rolls up the sleeves’ and
    gets things done.

 

 

Added Advantage

  • Prior experience in Management Consulting firms working on strategic
    engagements.
  • Payments and Banking experience preferred.
  • Strong academic achievements – high GPA from a top tier institution.
