PropertyGuru’s Experience Design Team is continuously evolving our customers’ experience across all our markets, channels and touchpoints. As part of the Experience Design Team, you will be designing smart and delightful products and services that help people make confident property decisions.
As a qualified candidate, you are a problem solver, a self-starter with a passion for information design and data visualization and the ability to achieve it. You have experience in designing compelling digital experiences, giving data a purpose and a story, and you can build prototypes that demonstrate the finer details in transitions, animations, and complex interactions.
You’re also an excellent communicator and a flexible team player and enjoy working closely with passionate designers, UX researchers, product managers, analysts and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Drive user experience excellence and own the UX vision for PropertyGuru’s data platform
- Give data a purpose through compelling visuals and interactive storytelling
- Create end-to-end detailed design deliverables as a series of experience maps, storyboards, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
- Develop UI layouts and contribute to our design system with an eye towards a unified experience
- Validate and substantiate your work by partnering with user researchers and be an advocate for user-centred design
- Work closely with product management, engineering and data analysts, providing the user’s perspective and your design expertise to ensure a cohesive experience across multiple products and platforms
- Know how to present your work effectively, and articulately communicate design rationale to stakeholders
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, agile tech environment in a start-up or other growth case
- A hands on, entrepreneurial mentality and comfortable with ambiguity
- You are an UX enthusiast with a great understanding and vision of how to translate complex information into compelling insights and know how to create a simple and engaging user experience on top of a complex data platform
- Demonstrated ability to partner across disciplines in order to achieve excellent UX results
- Ideally, you have previous experience or a strong interest in data design and visualization and with interactive data storytelling/visualization tools
- Strong communication skills, both in team collaboration and written documentation
