Group Creative Director, Product Design

Deloitte Studios is a full-service creative agency within Deloitte Digital. A newly formed group that brings together our Digital Experience capabilities and our Advertising/Marketing teams into new kind of Creative agency. An agency that, coupled with the power of Deloitte Digital, combines creativity and technology to elevate the human experience in new ways. We are seeking a Group Creative/Experience Director who is passionate about strengthening the relationship between users/customers and the brands that serve them, and is eager to help grow a new blended studio/agency model within Deloitte that brings strategy, marketing, advertising, and digital experiences to elevate the human experience.

 

 

Work you’ll do

  • Lead the design for multiple future-forward digital experiences for demanding, world-class clients
  • Lead and collaborate closely with teams of product managers, designers, engineers, and QA to ensure a high-quality experience while delivering a high-quality engagement with our clients
  • Bring user-centered design (UCD) processes and methods to digital solutions from concept to launch
  • Own the strategic planning for digital experience / product design projects throughout the entire digital experience lifecycle—from initial positioning and exploration, to design and build, and through launch and enhancements
  • Work with CDs, ACDs, and Sr. Designers to deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces at the highest quality possible
  • Work with the broader account team and other project leads (like enablement technology teams, marketing teams, etc.) to we are meeting cross-program milestones and dependencies
  • Help the team plan and run effective client workshops and client stakeholder meetings
  • Clearly articulate and defend your team’s design decisions in front of the broader account team and clients
  • Identify and execute on the best methods for user research and testing within client constraints to secure intended outcomes with our clients
  • Facilitate effective decision-making with clients
  • Monitor and have knowledge of wider industry UX trends and relevant technology trends
  • Grow and refine the studio’s creative capabilities and skillsets

  • Cross-channel customer engagement strategy, design and development to include the creation of omni-channel digital experiences across web, mobile, social, physical, AR/VR, voice, gesture, IoT, and video

  • Marketing Content and digital asset management solutions
  • Marketing Technology and Advertising Technology solutions
  • Marketing analytics implementation and operations
  • Acquisition and engagement campaign ideation, development and execution
  • Agile based, design-thinking, user-centric, empirical projects that accelerate results

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ in a creative leadership role (with at least 3+ of those years in a digital agency environment)
  • 4+ leading cross-functional teams within an agency and counseling junior staff
  • 4+ in a client-facing role managing creative experience projects
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience, storytelling and design presentation skills
  • Demonstrated experience in business development process, planning for, and delivering complex digital experience projects
  • Experience in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop UX recommendations
  • Experience in UX research, including planning, designing and facilitating user sessions and client workshops, analyzing findings and articulating results
  • Experience in UX design, including information architecture, user and screen flows, conceptual and detailed wireframing and prototyping
  • Experience with modern design tools like Sketch, Figma, Axure, Principle, Framer, InVision, etc.
  • Ability to inspire people and work in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
  • Experience with Agile, Design Sprints and Systems Design
  • A clear passion and enthusiasm for learning and pursuing your expertise, constantly challenging the definition of what makes good user experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel up to 30% (While 30% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with conversational UI
  • Experience in augmented, virtual or mixed reality
  • Motion design
