EPIC2026 (Chicago, Illinois, United States)
EPIC2026, the 22nd edition of the annual international ethnography conference that alternates between the United States and Europe, will take place at the Illinois Institute of Technology from October 25 – 27, 2026.
Centered on the theme <CONTEXT>, this year’s conference explores large-scale computation – how we model, predict, and interpret context to create value for people and businesses.
Ethnographers, researchers, academics, and students from the United States and around the world will gather to engage with leading thinkers through keynote talks, paper presentations, case studies, salon-style small-group discussions, and networking events.
