CHI 2027 (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States)

CHI 2027, the premier annual conference in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), will take place from May 10 – 14, 2027, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh, United States.

Inspired by Pittsburgh’s iconic yellow bridges, the conference theme, “Bridges”, highlights the vital role of HCI in connecting people and technologies. In a world facing increasingly complex challenges, meaningful progress depends on bridging divides, across disciplines, between research and practice, between technological innovation and human values, and between the communities we serve and the systems we design. CHI 2027 seeks to foster these connections and strengthen collaboration across the HCI ecosystem.

Building on the streamlined structure introduced in the previous edition, CHI 2027 will once again feature a condensed five-day weekday program. The conference will include six submission categories: Papers, Panels, Meetups, Posters, Workshops and Interactive Demos.
